どうしてもオフィスチェアというとプラスチックが前面に出てきてしまうものが多かった中で、ホーム空間に馴染むようプラスチックがあまり主張しない張りぐるみの椅子をデザインした。オフィスチェアの座り心地はそのままに、家においても邪魔にならないよう、コンパクトかつ背を薄くすることを目指した。結果的に柔らかい印象でありながらすっきりとした椅子になった。普遍的で普通なホームチェアになるよう、ファッショントレンドである「ノームコア」にちなんで「norm」という名前をつけた。

When it comes to office chairs, there are many plastics that come out to the front. We aimed to make it compact and thin so that it would not get in the way at home, while maintaining the comfort of an office chair. The result is a chair with a soft impression and a clean look. In order to make it a universal and ordinary home chair, we named it "norm" after the fashion trend "normcore".
