Masaya Kawamoto
プロダクトデザイナー/インダストリアルデザイナーとして東京を拠点に活動中。日本大学大学院芸術学研究科を修了。大手オフィス家具メーカーやデザイン事務所にて、オフィス空間や公共施設家具のほか、 家電、生活用品など幅広いジャンルのプロダクトデザイン経験を経て、2024年に独立。
人や生活に寄り添う気遣いのある普遍的な製品づくりと、素材や技術・構造からのアプローチによる新しい価値観やかたちの探究を行っている。
Currently based in Tokyo as a product designer/industrial designer. Graduated from the Graduate School of Art, Nihon University. After working for a major office furniture manufacturer and a design firm, he became independent in 2024 with experience in a wide range of product design genres, including office space and public facility furniture, home appliances, and household goods.
He is engaged in creating universal products that care for people and their lives, and exploring new values and forms by approaching them from the perspective of materials, technology, and structure.
