今までオフィスで使われていたタスクライトは、可動域が広くて元をどこでも照らせる便利さがある反面、たくさん数が置かれるオフィス内においては煩雑な印象を與、景観を崩していた。パソコンでの作業がほとんどとなった今、手元を照らしたいときに本体ごと移動でき、机の上に置いてあっても気にならない卓上ライトの姿を考えた結果、不必要な造形を捨てたプリミティブな直方体のみで構成されたライトをデザインした。21㎜角一本の柱に、照明部の頭と本体を支える台座がついているだけの彫刻のようなライトである。

The task lights that have been used in offices so far have a wide range of motion and are convenient to illuminate the base anywhere, but on the other hand, they give a complicated impression in an office where there are a lot of them, destroying the scenery. Now that most of my work is done on a computer, I thought about a tabletop light that can be moved around when I want to illuminate my hand, and I didn't mind if it was placed on my desk. I designed a light composed only of primitive rectangular parallelepipeds. It is a sculpture-like light with a single pillar of 21mm braised cubes and a pedestal that supports the head of the lighting section and the main body.
