By applying a flattening process to part of the round tubing, the design combines a distinctive form, in which the cylindrical shape gradually transitions into a flattened curve, with a functional feature that allows the bulb to be held securely inside the tube by the flattened end. A design that adds both aesthetic and functional value to an ordinary material through minimal processing.
