PF Armchair

prototype / 2024

A chair that enhances comfort in areas touched by the human body by applying a flattening process to sections of the round steel tubing commonly used in furniture. Its linear and simple form highlights the distinctive backrest, while the structure is designed to be disassembled and reassembled, taking packing efficiency into consideration. The body was experimentally colored using a salt-bath coloring process, a special treatment applied to stainless steel that produces a unique and one-of-a-kind color through the formation of an oxide film.
