Even when emotions are not expressed through words or facial expressions, we can sometimes sense them intuitively as an aura. We do not necessarily see a person’s true feelings, yet something of their inner self seems to reveal itself through the atmosphere and aura they carry. Inspired by this idea, I designed a table enveloped in mesh. At first glance, it appears to be a simple cylinder, but depending on how and from which angle it is viewed, the inner structure subtly reveals itself through the mesh. The distinctive and complex appearance of the material, shaped by the uncontrollable nature of leftover metal pieces, expresses a one-of-a-kind individuality that has not been standardized or uniformed.
